Kingmaker

Description from GDD:

Kingmaker is a turn-based historical strategy game where the player’s main objective is to overthrow their King and become ruler themselves. To do so you must make alliances, build armies, upgrade cities, take new land, sabotage, scheme, and finally; take the capital itself. However, as you do this you will face rivals who also vie for the throne, and the King himself will not sit idly by, acting as your rival – using artificial intelligence to adapt to your actions – and the ‘threat level’ that creates – to prevent you from succeeding. It is up to the player, therefore, to outsmart their nemesis and seize power by any means possible. The game will be broken up into scenarios, each corresponding to a historical period of civil war, and the game will last around 6 years, equivalent to 72 turns.
